Welcome to part eight of the basement makeover! If you watched my last video you saw me hang the wallpaper and finish the fireplace wall, which I love, so now it's time to install the ceiling tiles and the trim. Then I will officially be done with all this construction stuff. This video was honestly hard to make since I'm kinda over all the tedious work that's gone into this space, but the tiles and trim are installed, so now I can finally get to all the fun design stuff and make the seventies dream space that's been inside my brain for the last six months.

A little backstory on me ... I’ve been living and working in NYC for the past eighteen years, but with everything going on in the world 😷 I decided to take a little break from Brooklyn and buy my first home in Milwaukee with my boo. That way he has a place to call home since he already lives here and I'll have a little escape to go to when I have downtime from work. I’m definitely not a carpenter by any means, but I do think I can accomplish what I have planned for this little house. I have big plans, so hopefully you’ll subscribe and join me on this journey of turning this old house into a home.
