Welcome to part seven of the basement makeover! I already ripped everything out and put it back together again, so we are officially at the first design moment. The fireplace wall is a big one since it's pretty much the focal point of the whole room. I've never hung wallpaper before, so I was a little bit nervous, but I think it turned out pretty good. Definitely has the 70's vibe that we're going for down here. Now onto the next project.

A little backstory on me ... I’ve been living and working in NYC for the past eighteen years, but with everything going on in the world 😷 I decided to take a little break from Brooklyn and buy my first home in Milwaukee with my boo. That way he has a place to call home since he already lives here and I'll have a little escape to go to when I have downtime from work. I’m definitely not a carpenter by any means, but I do think I can accomplish what I have planned for this little house. I have big plans, so hopefully you’ll subscribe and join me on this journey of turning this old house into a home.
