This video is pretty special to me because after all the renovations that I've done in the house, this basement stairwell update was one of the last big ones that needed to be done. I've literally avoided looking at it for the past three years anytime I was in the kitchen, but I'm happy to say that it's finally finished. I wanted to blend the aesthetic of the main level and upstairs with the 70's vibe of the basement, so keeping the wood trim was a key feature in there that had to stay. I think the clean white walls and the new vinyl tiles that I installed make it feel fresh and more the vibe of the rest of the house. All-in-all I'm super happy with how it came together. A little backstory on me ... My name's Marcel. I’ve been living and working in NYC for the past twenty years, but in 2020 I decided to buy my first home in Milwaukee with my boo.
