We're back in the basement... But this time in our super 70's bathroom. I gotta say, I love a lot about what's already in there. The original wall paneling and mint condition lucite fixtures are so good, but there were some things that needed to be updated. I wanted to make a video to show that you can make a big difference with a few easy DIY updates that don't require you to tear your bathroom down to the studs, or spend a ton of money. So with that said, I didn't do a full-on gut renovation like I did in the bathroom on the main level but it does show that you can make your bathroom more your vibe with these easy upgrades that you can totally do yourself. Whether you own your home, or rent, these little changes will definitely make a big difference.

If you're new here, my name's Marcel. My boyfriend Ben and I bought our house back in 2020 and we've been renovating ever since. I’ve been living and working in NYC for the past nineteen years, but with everything that was going on in the world 😷 I decided to take a little break from Brooklyn and buy my first home in Milwaukee with my boo. That way he has a place to call home since he already lives here and I have a little escape to go to when I have downtime from work.
