It's officially been a year since Ben and I bought this house and still no regrets, so that's good. The main floor is finally done now that the bathroom makeover is finished. My vision for the bathroom was a nod to the midcentury bathrooms of the past, with their pastel tiles that I love. I wanted to create that vibe, but with mostly everything being brand new in here, I decided to paint one of the walls pink to have a little pop amidst all the white tile and white walls, while giving a shoutout to those old pink tile bathrooms of the past. A bunch of hard work and love went into this room, so hopefully you enjoy it.

A little backstory on me ... I’ve been living and working in NYC for the past eighteen years, but with everything going on in the world 😷 I decided to take a little break from Brooklyn and buy my first home in Milwaukee with my boo. That way he has a place to call home since he already lives here and I'll have a little escape to go to when I have downtime from work. I’m definitely not a carpenter by any means, but I do think I can accomplish what I have planned for this little house.
