Sunthawada and Gopal Kala are the traditional recipes. It is favourite recipe of Lord Gopal Krishna. Gopalkala is a Janmashtami special recipe. This is very easy recipe and can be prepared quickly. Also this is healthy recipe as it contains lots of proteins and fibres too.You can make this for breakfast or as an evening snack too. Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup Thin Pohe / Flattened rice
• 1/2 cup Dahi / Curd
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp Sugar
• 1/2 cup Jawar lahya / Puffed jawar
• 2-3 tbsp Pomegranate
• 1 tbsp Finely chopped Cucumber
• Coriander leaves
• 2 tsp Soaked Chana dal
. 1 tablespoon each salted peanuts and roasted peanuts.

Method
• Take one pot and add soaked chana dal in it.
• Add some salted peanuts and roasted peanuts
• Add puffed jawar, pomegranate, cucumber
• Add green chilli, salt, sugar
• Add curd in it and mix well
• And sprinkle coriander leaves on it
• Gopal kala is ready to serve.

Sunthavada is a Prasad recipe which is specially prepared on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, It is said that Sunthwada is specially made for Devki Mata who is Mother of Lord Shri Krishna after the birth of Lord Krishna. So let us see how to make Sunthavada recipe in Marathi.

Ingredients :
• 2 Tablespoon Sunth powder
• 1 tablespoon Poppy seeds
• 1 tablespoon Dill
• 6 tablespoon dry grated Coconut
• Khadisakhar as per your taste.
• 6 tablespoon date powder
• 4 Cardamom
• 8-10 Currants
• 2-3 Tulsi leaves
• 5-6 Almonds and 5-6 Cashews

Method:

• Take one fry pan and lightly roast Poppy seeds, Dill, and Dryfruits.
• Fry dry Coconut till it becomes light brown and last add cardamom in it and roast it 2-3 seconds. Cool it for 5 minutes.
•Take mixer jar and add all roasted Ingredients. Also add khadisakhar and make a rough powder. Add some Currants and put 2-3 Tulsi leaves on it.
• Sunthawada is ready.
