Welcome to part six of the basement makeover! I thought painting and priming the fresh drywall was going to be the easy part, but with all DIY stuff, I've learned that's never the case. But, I did what I had to do to make it as good as it can be, so the walls are painted and I can move onto the next step. There's a lot to get to the 70's basement of my dreams, but getting this part done is a big step forward. Getting so close to the fun design stuff.

A little backstory on me ... I’ve been living and working in NYC for the past eighteen years, but with everything going on in the world 😷 I decided to take a little break from Brooklyn and buy my first home in Milwaukee with my boo. That way he has a place to call home since he already lives here and I'll have a little escape to go to when I have downtime from work. I’m definitely not a carpenter by any means, but I do think I can accomplish what I have planned for this little house. I have big plans, so hopefully you’ll subscribe and join me on this journey of turning this old house into a home.
