Welcome to part eleven (the final part) of the basement makeover! In the last video I built the bar, so at this point I'm working on the finishing touches. The first thing I wanted to do was cover a wall in carpet cause why not. Aside from doing the carpet feature wall, which I love, I added in all the cute stuff like the 70's-inspired shelving unit and all the accessories. This basement makeover is exactly what I pictured in my head when I started this renovation, so Ben and I are super into how it all came together. Now I want to put carpet on all the walls...

A little backstory on me ... I’ve been living and working in NYC for the past nineteen years, but with everything going on in the world 😷 I decided to take a little break from Brooklyn and buy my first home in Milwaukee with my boo. That way he has a place to call home since he already lives here and I'll have a little escape to go to when I have downtime from work. I’m definitely not a carpenter by any means, but I do think I can accomplish what I have planned for this little house.
