Three company kitchens in the Kyritz district (Brandenburg) are inspected by the Workers' and Farmers' Inspection (ABI) in 1985. The GDR magazine "Prisma" reports on deficiencies in hygiene and in the working conditions of the kitchen staff. First and foremost, the food should taste good, but renovation, repair and improvement of the workrooms is urgently needed. The storage of food, equipment of the canteen kitchens and financial support by the district should also improve the supply of workers as well as the working atmosphere of the cooks.
