This contingency configuration utilizes the Totem in a standard mode, but with a little different tie-off due to the friction setting. Like we mention in the Contingency Anchor Intro...and some of the videos...our contingency anchor techniques may differ a little from what is found in recreational / or guiding within canyoneering - the main feature is we don't utilize rapides (screw links) typically in ours and some of our rigging configurations due to the operational context they are used within...so some of the constraints and environmental pathology differ. There are a ton of different techniques that can be used to engineer an effective contingency anchor, utilize techniques that you can successfully accomplish based on context of operation, organic assets, and threat level (environmental or other).
