AUDIO. MONO. Another fine selection of old favourites arranged in George Mitchell's inimitable style, and professionally presented, as always, by the Minstrels . . .

George Chisholm and Friends kick off with their usual zany performance - warts and all. They should have invited Ronnie Ronalde to help with their whistling, though!

This is followed by a John Boulter solo, then the Funsters, Time for Loving, and another solo from John, accompanied this time by Semprini. George Mitchell conducts the choir singing 'Clementine' and we end with Happy Hour - well, a happy 5 minutes!

Once again, my apologies for the sound quality not being up to hi-fi standards. It's a bit rough, but please bear in mind the reel-to-reel tapes are over 50 years old, and the music has been processed five times 'twixt the TV broadcast and your ears. I've ironed out a few wee blips, but otherwise it's 'sold as seen'.

This selection is presented on YouTube as MP4, thus the graphics are not as sharp as AVI which takes hours to upload.

There is little to see, just the occasional title and a few bonnie colours, but of course it's the music that matters, so close your eyes and relax for half an hour.

A reminder... this channel is moderated, so comments will not appear immediately, if at all.
I neither seek nor accept any monetary reward for my presentations. Those artistes and the BBC have done all the hard work, so why should I benefit?
