Gilbert & Sullivan medley from The Black & White Minstrel Show, 1964, featuring the relaxed Tony Mercer, songster John Boulter, delectable Margaret Savage and the irrepressible Dai Francis.

PLEASE NOTE : : This VHS recording was sent to me many years ago.The sound is rather squiffy and muffled, so I've used the appropriate track from the Minstrels' "Show Time Special" LP for most of the sequence. As this is not a perfect match, I've fiddled around with the video rather than the sound, so there will be a few blips and a slight loss of lip synch in places. (Just watch the Television Toppers instead!) I'm no expert but I've done my best. The duet with Les Rawlings and Don Cleaver is the original sound as this is not on the LP, but I didn't want to lose the song.

If you find the entire subject objectionable, move on to something else - there are plenty viewers who will accept this for what it always was - good, clean and exceedingly popular family entertainment.
