Another AUDIO selection of music recorded on reel-to-reel tape direct from a television transmission, including some medleys not available on LPs or DVDs. Like previous Terry's Tapes, this 'Black & White Minstrel Show' was on BBC Television back in 1964. Considering its age, the sound isn't too bad, but it became rough in parts after transfer. This can be smoothed out by adjusting your audio settings. Sorry, I can't give advice because I haven't a scoobie what I did, but by fiddling around, it worked!
The short song, 'Lonesome Traveller' (UK spelling), is already on this channel, but I've left it in as it fits neatly into Leslie Crowther's interesting 'News' item. The photos were taken on our granddaughter's phone during her honeymoon in April 2016.

To the best of my knowledge all graphics are in the public domain. If anything is not right, please contact me rather than reporting direct to YouTube, and I will sort it out. Hopefully you will be kind, and accept a public acknowledgement rather than having it deleted. Everything I upload gives me an immense amount of pleasure (except 'Kool for Klots'!) and it is my sincere wish that this element of easy listening and fun spreads to many others with similar tastes.
