FIFTY MINUTES OF SHEER BLISS!

Yes, George Mitchell's Minstrels are back with a full AUDIO programme of music that many old-timers (and even some not-so-old-timers) love - with not a comedian or black face in sight! Thanks again to Terry for supplying this reel-to-reel recording. There is the odd glitch here and there, most of which I've managed to disguise, but there are a couple I couldn't fix.

The person (not Terry) who made those original recordings straight from 1964 television shows tended to chop off the end and even the beginning of some medleys, but wouldn't it be boring if everything in life was perfect? A burst of applause now and then helps patch the links, but all other applause is from the audience.

The sound quality is much better than my first selection, which I may replace later, but meantime I want to concentrate on bringing you even more music soon. I made a few feeble attempts to add graphics, but, frankly, it's the music that matters, so sit back in a darkened room, close your eyes and soak up those fantastic arrangements of many old favourites.
