Puru
King Yayati married Dewayani, the daughter of Sukracarya, the teacher of the monsters. From this marriage were born 2 sons Yadu and Turwasu. Then King Yayati remarried Sarmista, the daughter of Wresaparwa, the leader of the Asura race. From this marriage, 3 sons Druhyu, Anu, and Puru were born. When King Yayati was cursed by his father-in-law, Sukracarya, his 4 sons, Yadu, Turwasu, Druhyu, and Anu did not want to take his place and undergo the curse. Puru, his youngest son, wants to take Sukracarya's curse in his place. Therefore, after undergoing the curse, Puru was appointed as the son of the Crown, who eventually succeeded him, becoming the King of Kandhawaprastha or the King of the Candra Dynasty.
King Puru is estimated to have ruled in the year 4350 to 4300 Before Common Era, he was the 5th King of the Candra Wangsa Kingdom or Kandhawaprastha Kingdom.

Janamejaya I
After King Puru died, he was succeeded by his son Janamejaya I as the 6th King of the Candra Wangsa Kingdom or Kandhawaprastha Kingdom. King Janamejaya I is estimated to have ruled in the years 4300 to 4270 Before Common Era. Janamejaya I married Ananta and had a child named Pracinwan or Pracinwata.

Pracinwan or Pracinwata
King Janamejaya I was replaced by his son Pracinwan or Pracinwata, who became the 7th king of the Candra Wangsa Kingdom or Kandhawaprastha Kingdom. King Pracinwan is estimated to have ruled in the years 4270 to 4230 Before Common Era. According to the Adiparwa book, King Pracinwan conquered all the kingdoms in the East Indian region. Pracinwan married Aśmaki or Aswanti and had a child named Sampayani or Sanyati.
