In this fascinating thought experiment, experimental philosopher Jonathon Keats and Tanja Seiner (BIOTOPIA) take us into the world of slime mold and how they can help us find optimal decisions for political and socieological scenarios. Jonathons Keats' experiments have revealed interesting answers to challenging questions of our time, like border control and climate change. Can we learn from slime molds how to optimize the political decision making processes?

Jonathon Keats is known for his elaborate thought experiments. His conceptual art has been exhibited at museums and galleries worldwide. He is an art critic and artist, and amongst others the author of "You Belong to the Universe: Buckminster Fuller and the Future", "Forged: Why Fakes Are the Great Art of Our Age" and "Virtual Words: Language on the Edge of Science and Technology".

The BIOTOPIA festival "SENSE - the Power of Perception" by BIOTOPIA - Naturkundemuseum Bayern explored the sensory world on 1 and 2 October 2022 at Schloss Nymphenburg (Hubertussaal), Botanical Garden Munich, Museum Mensch und Natur and the BIOTOPIA Lab! At the interface of bio- and neuroscience, art and design, the festival allowed visitors to experience the world of perception.
