Halloween is upon us, and spooky season is well into it's full swing! To celebrate, let's talk about why horror is such a great genre. In this video, I break down my thoughts on why I absolutely love horror movies and TV, despite hating it until my mid-20's. (Yup, I didn't always love it!)

There are three main reasons I think modern horror (particularly psychological horror) is an incredible genre that I'll cover here, with examples from Hereditary, Get Out, The Lighthouse, The Babadook, and several more. At the end of the day, though, remember, this is just my opinion. If you love horror, I want to hear what kind and why down in the comments! Is there a horror film that I need to watch?
