The Boys Season 3 finale has come and gone, and now it's time to spend obscene amounts of time thinking about Homelander, Soldier Boy, Butcher and the rest of the gang while writing video essays. :)

I struggled for a long while with what part of the Boys finale I should do a video on first. There are SO MANY great scenes, themes, and character details in this episode. So, I decided to focus on the final fight between Butcher, Maeve, Homelander, and Soldier Boy. This fight, and the dialogue leading up to it, is jam-packed with character details, incredible acting, and fatherly themes that would put Thanos and the MCU's father-complex to shame. (Spoilers ahead, of course.)

So, buckle in and come along as we dissect Jensen Ackles' memorable performance as Homelander's deranged father, the tragedy of intergenerational trauma, and the subtle details in Dominique McElligott's acting during this finale.
