Welcome to part two of the basement reno! In the last video I ripped everything out, so now I'm slowly starting to put it all back together again. I scraped out all the cracks in the foundation mortar, so it was ready for new mortar and then I waterproofed those walls. There's a lot to get to that 70's basement of my dreams, but getting this part done makes me one step closer.
A little backstory on me ... I’ve been living and working in NYC for the past eighteen years, but with everything going on in the world 😷 I decided to take a little break from Brooklyn and buy my first home in Milwaukee with my boo. That way he has a place to call home since he already lives here and I'll have a little escape to go to when I have downtime from work. I’m definitely not a carpenter by any means, but I do think I can accomplish what I have planned for this little house. I have big plans, so hopefully you’ll subscribe and join me on this journey of turning this old house into a home.
