역시 이 앨범의 시작점입니다.

결국 우리는 모래사장 어딘가에 묻혀 있을 것만 같은 무언가를 찾아보려고 고개를 숙이고 모래만 바라보다가 마지막이 오는 줄도 모르고 인생을 지나 보내겠지요.

무언가를 찾는 사람도 있겠고 찾고도 모르는 사람도 있을 테지요.

찾고도 계속 찾으려 할 것이고 기껏 찾은 돌을 소중히 하지 못하고 계속 다른 돌을 갈망하기만 하는 사람도 있을 것입니다.

그리고 우리는 모래만 보느라 언제 밤이 오는지, 언제 해일이 오는지 알 수 없겠지요.
2020년에 해일이 거센 밤을 맞았을 때 그랬던 것 처럼요.

Ultimately, we spend our lives with our heads bowed down looking at the sand of a beach to try to find something that seems to be buried below it, unaware of the end that is on its way. Some people end up finding what they are looking for, while others find it and yet remain unaware of having done so. Those ones keep on searching even after having found what they were looking for, and others don’t care for the stone they have already found and keep craving others.

And as we keep staring at the sand, we stay unaware of the coming night and when the tidal waves might come.

Just like the night when the violent tidal wave hit us in 2020.
