Welcome to BREW CITY BUILDS! If you're new to my channel, my name's Marcel. I bought a house with my boyfriend Ben back in 2020 and we've been renovating ever since. So far, the main level is finished as well as the upstairs, so it's time to move onto the basement. I'm starting from scratch down there, so I have a long way to go. This vid is the start of the series, so you get to see me tear the place up. Follow along as I turn this space into a classic seventies vibe from start to finish.

A little backstory on me ... I’ve been living and working in NYC for the past eighteen years, but with everything going on in the world 😷 I decided to take a little break from Brooklyn and buy my first home in Milwaukee with my boo. That way he has a place to call home since he already lives here and I'll have a little escape to go to when I have downtime from work. I’m definitely not a carpenter by any means, but I do think I can accomplish what I have planned for this little house. I have big plans, so hopefully you’ll subscribe and join me on this journey of turning this old house into a home.
