Mukul Kulkarni is a senior disciple of the late Pt. Sharad Sathe and Pt. Arun Kashalkar. He performed for the third chapter of the First Edition Arts-curated Synthesis series held at the Bangalore International Centre. This concert was entitled "Reflections - Celebrating A Musical Journey with My Gurus", where Mukul sang compositions he learnt from his gurus.
For his concluding piece Mukul Kulkarni performed the popular "Dil Le Janda We" a tappa in Raag Kafi. He was accompanied by Sagar Bharatraj on tabla and Vyasmurthi Katti on harmonium. Tanpura support was provided by Sarang Phagre and Mayur Sakri.
