Keyur Kurulkar was the featured artiste on the premiere episode of the Kishima Arts Foundation-curated FIRST LIGHT series. This series features young Indian Classical musicians presenting rarely performed repertoire and is part of the ongoing "Indian Classical Music & Performing Arts Public Digital Archive" project set up by KAF.
In this video Keyur performs 3 compositions in Raag Todi, each portraying an interesting shade of the raag. The first was a khayal from the Gwalior tradition in Tilwada ‘Tori Chhab Mo Man’. This composition is a peculiar take on Todi, where the Pancham stays hidden for the entirety of its sthayee and almost all of the antara. The Pancham finally appears right when the antara reconnects to the sthayee. Following this he sang a composition by Arolkar Buwa (1911-1994), 'Pathakawa Gailo' in Drut Teental and concluded with a Tarana that his Guru Pt. Sharad Sathe (1932-2019) received from Prof B R Deodhar (1901-1990).

Keyur is accompanied by the young and very talented Parth Tarabadkar on tabla and Saumitra Kshirsagar on harmonium. Tanpura support was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Vijay Desai.
