KICK ASH BASKET - What's it all about?
Clean and fire up faster - How? The Solution is the charcoal basket also called Kick Ash Basket.

Has this happened to you before? Your wife asks, "When is dinner ready?"
Then you break out into a cold sweat. You think, I'll just say in "half an hour" but you already know you need at least three quarters of an hour! And now you're really stressed.

BENEFIT NUMBER 1
With the Kick Ash Basket, i.e. the charcoal basket, you have better air circulation. Compared to the cast iron coal grate,
which has smaller holes with limited airflow, you've got a charcoal basket with much more air circulation. And so what that means is, you get a quicker and hotter fire. And that's exactly what makes the process so much faster.

Now you can wipe the sweat from your brow: and say, "Honey, food's ready! We can sit at the table and eat!"

BENEFIT NUMBER 2
When you've got some coals left over from your last cook, which haven't been used and they're still sitting in the basket, i.e. your Kick Ash Basket, they're still covered in ash and smaller pieces of charcoal. Now you can simply take the ash basket out in fact, inside your grill and just shake it back and forth until all the ash and the little bits just drop through the grate. The larger chunks that are still in the basket, can be used again, and that means you save some money by using them again.

Here is another tip using this charcoal partition, which you can place inside this robust charcoal basket. And you can position it in two ways like I'm showing you. This way you can only use half a basket, which you can fill on one side only and then light up. For example, you may only want to grill a little or just grill indirect or on direct heat.
