SAfe and fast to fun on the gas grill - now on grill Sheriff TV.

0:05 I often hear statements from customers who come to the Grill Sheriff City for advice, such as: "I don't grill myself. That's what my husband does because I'm afraid of gas." Or "Actually, I'd rather have a charcoal grill because of the taste, but I can't because of the house rules". Or clean "Uh, clean gas grill. That's tedious and I don't feel like it" or "I have to be quick, I don't have time".

I would like to give you a few comments on these points.

0:33 Gas grills are safe. You don't have to be afraid of gas. Accidents happen if you use it wrong or if you don't read the manual. It is important to check the gaskets. This happens every time you connect the gas cylinder. Here you should check the tightness and if the connection is tight. But also the cleanliness of the gas grill. If the grease bowl is not cleaned after grilling and the grease accumulates more and more, it will burn on its own. Then you can't just close the gas tap, because it continues to burn.

Then also the right lighting. Think about how to light it.

1st point: Open the lid

Point 2: Check that the taps are closed, then open the bottles and only then ignite them.

If these points are observed, nothing happens and the gas grill is guaranteed to be safe.

1:27 On the subject of taste, I can tell you: Only on a good gas grill can you achieve really fine caramelisation. If you want to add some smoke aroma, you can also put wooden chips in a gas grill in a smoke box and refine your meat, your food. Or if you even want to work with charcoal in your gas grill. This is also possible with a charcoal insert.

2:09 Cleaning the grill. This is certainly not my favourite activity because I much prefer grilling. But also there are gas grills which are easier to clean and those which are a bit more laborious because they are constructed differently. Nevertheless a few tips on what you can pay attention to.

If you grill is the first point: prevent contamination. Yes, everything that goes into the grill must also go out again. And anything you can't take out stays in the grill and you have to clean it up, that's tedious.

2:51 Whenever possible, use the drip tray as a second tip. You can use it to catch the dripping fat. Please always clean immediately. Do not wait until the next time. Make it this way: If you take out the piece of meat, you have to let it rest anyway. During this time, you can quickly and easily clean it with the grill brush or spray. That's what it's good for when you have a grill with a base cabinet. There you have everything stowed away and ready when you need it. Quickly open the cabinet, put detergent in your hand and "zack" it's done.

3:28 And for those who are in a hurry and want to buy a gas barbecue, I can only say one thing: There are big differences. From 0 to 100 degrees there are all fast, that's no problem. Even for those who are not so ideal. But when it comes to heating from 100 to 200 degrees or from 200 to 300 degrees, there are huge differences. And there the kilowatt specification is often not enough to be able to estimate whether a grill is powerful or a little less powerful.
