Sam is making huge progress in therapy! Remember the video I posted last week? He couldn’t get or hold either leg extended by himself but here he is, ONLY ONE WEEK LATER, holding his right leg FULLY EXTENDED!!! We have been doing these exercises since we returned home in March of 2020 with a yoga ball under his belly for support but he is now crushing it on his own! They also worked on lifting one arm at a time AND attempted opposite arm and leg...which takes such control, coordination and strength 🤩

THIS is why I am so freakin’ excited about hyperbaric oxygen therapy and pushing so hard for Sam to get his own chamber. Yes, he’s been working his butt off and, yes, we’re still decreasing his seizure meds and, yes, there’s a ton of other factors but HBOT is obviously boosting all of his efforts. It’s all about finding the right combination of therapies that build and support each other. HBOT is the grease that is making everything easier, smoother, faster!!
