I first bought this outdoor rotisserie back in 2016 and have been using it at least twice a year, ever since. It is currently seven years old and its held up pretty good. I also keep it outside, in the elements, uncovered, so it is showing its age.

This video is of our nearly annual pig roast. We started hosting the pig roast around 2015 using my Greek neighbors homemade rotisserie before I bought my own. We had to skip 2020 and 2021 due to the world wide tour of the Jiina Viirus, but we are back on track now.

We purchased a 74 pound pig for this pig roast. Kaps Retail Store, 2630 Riopelle Street, Detroit, MI 48207 located in Detroit's Eastern Market District is where we buy our pig.

This year, we started the pig at around 6am and the pig was completely done, and fall off the bone tender by about 4:30pm. The key to a successful pig roast is steady heat throughout the entire cook.
