Maverick Vinales and Enea Bastianini have signed with KTM's satellite Tech3 MotoGP team for the 2025 season.

Bastianini and Vinales, who left the factory teams of Ducati and Aprilia, respectively, have signed multi-year contracts to join Herve Poncharal's team.

Given that Bastianini's manager Carlo Pernat had been publicly associating him with Tech3 ever since Bastianini moved up to the third position for his current Ducati works ride, behind Marc Marquez and Jorge Martin, with Marquez finally earning the ride, the news of his signing is hardly surprising.

But considering his purportedly close ties to Aprilia since he left Yamaha midway through the 2021 season, Vinales arrival is even more surprising. This may be partly due to Aprilia's recent acquisition of Marteen as a star signing.
