MotoGP series leader Jorge Marteen is headed to Aprilia after his candidacy for the 2025 official Ducati seat was denied to Marc Marquez.
Heading into Sachsenring this weekend, where he won both races in 2023, Marteen still has a 10-point lead over Francesco Bagnaia, who finished second in both of last weekend's races at Assen.
Marteen will probably be a title contender for the rest of this season and into the future with Aprilia.
However, Bagnaia thinks that a more powerful version of Marteen will be displayed for the duration of 2024 after Ducati rejected it.
