Mysore Vasudevachar is one of the most prolific composers of the 20th century. One of his very rare compositions is "Srimadadi Thyagaraja Guruvaram" in Ragam Kalyani. This song is in praise of Saint Thyagaraja and speaks about his contribution to Carnatic Music.
Aditya learnt this composition from his Guru Smt. Radha Namboodiri. It presents an alternate version of the Ragam Kalyani and has a unique chittai swaram passage following the Anupallavi and Charanam.
