GN Balasubramaniam left behind a treasure trove of music for us. In his last Music Academy Concert in 1961, one of the very elaborately dealt-with pieces was "Kalayami Raghuramam" in the Ragam Begada. The lyrics were by Maharaja Swathi Thirunal.
This composition was taught to Aditya by his Guru Sanjay Subrahmanyan when he was 19 years old.
