Pierre Brouwers has filmed New Caledonia several times since the first film he made in this collection. In doing so, he was able to see how much the former French overseas territory has evolved in the space of two decades.

It really was a tremendous pleasure for him to take a new in-depth look at the island, scouring every corner once again. Encounters with the population, a way of life, a huge lagoon and amazing landscapes, to a backdrop of red and blue. A new discovery round every corner.
