Peter Kurten’s Last Meal is the focus for this week’s episode on The Last Supper. Known as the Vampire of Dusseldorf, Peter Kurten indulged Wiener Schnitzel and Fried Potatoes for his last meal, washing it down with a bottle of white wine before asking for seconds, he enjoyed it that much.
He was beheaded in the morning for the sickening atrocities that he committed and rightly so. If I could attach a warning with this one, I would. I’m not going to delve to much into what he did, as the recipe (linked below) will delve deeper into what the video will just, daringly, touch on.
If recreating at home, feel free to substitute the Veal for Pork or Chicken if you don’t agree with the ethics of Veal. I completely understand. I had to stomach for authenticity, however.
The recipe with a more in depth look at the meal is available here ; https://www.thelastsupperyt.com/post/...
Peter Kurten’s last meal was one that consisted of Veal. A controversial meat which is taken from Cows whom are slain usually around 12 months old to avoid the meat being too tough. A sentient animal which has been killed prematurely for the indulgence of others, perhaps a fitting meat for Peter Kurten to dine out on before being executed.
