Even by themselves, bullet shells are pretty iconic objects. They also happen to be a great material to design and build with. They are fairly easy to get a hold of, (at least here in Texas), they are not expensive, and are easy to shape and work with the most basic of hand tools.

In this Video I take a once fired 50 Cal BMG brass shell and re shape it into a patriotic belt buckle,... my own rustic piece Americana.
