The new Tea For Two is out and this time, @theayakachannel and @hankka_ talk what makes Japanese rice so delicious and umami flavoured. The secret? It's umeboshi! Umeboshi are pickled ume plum fruits that common in Japan. Umeboshi can be used in many dishes such as vinaigrettes, salad dressings, noodles, sandwiches, and rice balls (onigiri).
