It is said: Germans have no sense of humor... - Mistake! - That is the counter-evidence.
A film like this one comes about when two friends let their ideas run wild and then put them into practice. CRAZY DENTAL ROCK is dedicated to all dentists, surgeons and their teams. They too had less to smile about this year and more challenges to master.
CZAZY DENTAL ROCK is an essence of 3 videos, supplemented by recordings from 2020. With their version of the song "Should I stay or should I go" by The Clash, Thomas Winkler from Nuremberg (vocals, guitar) and Frank Nowak from Dresden ( Drums), guitar) took part in the German competition of one of the world's leading manufacturers of dental implants - Straumann- (today straumanngroup) and won it.


The recordings were made in the rooms of befriended dentists and surgeons, these and all other sequences all come from the FSB's own archive.

Most of the music performance in 2016 took place during a real surgical procedure: the removal of wisdom teeth. The young man under the green cloth had agreed to our extraordinary musical accompaniment in advance. It was also admirable how confidently the dentist at that time and today's oral surgeon did his job despite our wild movements. Note: the operation proceeded without complications. The patient still lives happily in his village today - without any physical or mental late effects ...


Other important scenes come from the films from 2017: "A day in the working life of Thomas and Frank" and "The working day of an maxillofacial surgeon" (2018). Many viewers around the world will ask themselves: "Who is the man with a watch, a lantern and Norwegian felt shoes who rides to the bakery on a women's bike and then faints before the operation?" Here is the answer: It's one of the "craziest" maxillofacial surgeons in Germany, Dr. Dr. Ronald Mai. His acting talent and ability to remain serious despite the most absurd situations give the video a special touch.

CRAZY DENTAL ROCK ist gewidmet allen Zahnärzten, Chirurgen und ihren Teams. Auch sie hatten in diesem Jahr weniger zu lachen und mehr Herausforderungen zu meistern.
CZAZY DENTAL ROCK ist eine Essenz aus 3 Videos, ergänzt von Mitschnitten aus 2020. Mit ihrer Version des Liedes " Should I stay or should I go" von The Clash nahmen Thomas Winkler aus Nürnberg (Gesang, Gitarre) und Frank Nowak aus Dresden (Drums, Gitarre) am Deutschen Contest eines weltweit führenden Herstellers von Zahnimplantaten- Straumann- (heute straumanngroup) teil und gewannen diesen.
Die meisten Aufnahmen entstanden in den Räumen befreundeter Zahnärzte und Chirurgen, diese und alle weiteren Sequenzen stammen auch allesamt aus dem Archiv des FSB.
Der größte Teil der Musikperformance fand 2016 während eines echten chirurgischen Eingriffes statt: der Entfernung von Weisheitszähnen. Der junge Mann unter dem grünen Tuch hatte im Vorfeld unserer außergewöhnlichen musikalischen Umrahmung zugestimmt. Bewundernswert war auch, wie souverän der damalige Zahnarzt und heutige Oralchirurg trotz unserer wilden Bewegungen blieb dabei seinen Job machte. Anmerkung: die Operation verlief ohne Komplikationen. Der Patient hatte lebt auch heute noch glücklich in seinem Dorf- ohne körperliche und geistige Spätfolgen....
Weitere wichtige Szenen stammen aus den Filmen von 2017: " Ein Tag im Arbeitsleben von Thomas und Frank" und " Der Arbeitstag eines Kieferchirurgen" (2018). Es werden sich viele Zuschauer auf der ganzen Welt fragen: " Wer ist der Mann mit Uhr, Laterne und norwegischen Filzschuhen, der auf einem Damenfahrrad zum Bäcker fährt und anschließend vor der Operation in Ohnmacht fällt?" Hier die Antwort: es ist einer der "verrücktesten" Kieferchirurgen in Deutschland, Dr. Dr. Ronald Mai. Sein schauspielerisches Talent und die Fähigkeit, trotz der absurdesten Situationen ernst zu bleiben, verleihen dem Video eine besondere Note.
