Based on a previous hike, map study and a recon hike, we were pretty confident there was at least one, if not two nice 20 foot waterfalls on a waterside that I can’t find a name for. We had been to Gum Branch Falls a few weeks before but had to stop there due to the lateness of the day. It’s a very nice waterfall! Everything was new to us beyond that. What that cliff row had in store for us after that was just amazing! Huge rockhouses, several arches, all kinds of other formations led us right to the two waterfalls, one only 50 feet below the other, we are calling “The Twins.” They are pretty impressive as they are but after a good rain I believe they’re going to be amazing! We located a gap in the cliff row only a short distance from these gorgeous waterfalls making the hike to them about a mile long! No doubt, a return trip is coming as soon as a good rain happens.
