This Part 3 (this video) is the rebuild from the floor up after all the previous problems had been addressed, the wall had been moved, and I had decided what I actually wanted. By far the most enjoyable part as it all came together. Just my 3rd bathroom remodel but I am absolutely thrilled how it turned out, and all in about $3000 CAD ($3000 USD)

All Grohe fittings for the showerhead, rainshower, handshower, and valve.

Alino waterproofing system for the entire shower with foam base (similar to Schluter).

Monster niche built by me after watching a number of Youtube videos and deciding "Hey! I want that!"
