I purchased a 33 year old home in 2019, and have been chipping away at a whole lotta updates it needed. I finally reached my breaking point with the spongy shower base, and walls that had way too much movement in them. After using it following a run one day, just ripped down the walls, and ripped out the base in frustration :) It revealed a lot was wrong. Lots of leaking, rusted out metal studs, and a misaligned drainpipe for starters.

I enrolled once again in YouTube University and off it I went! I had always heard that full bathroom renovations were quite expensive, so I didn't even bother getting any quotes. This would be trial by fire (or leaking), and I would do it alone. Failure was an option, but I would then need to lock the door and declare it a storage room. Who am I kidding, my level of OCD made failure definitely not an option.

I didn't spend any real time capturing video, but I did take enough photos to tell the story.
