There are many variations of waffle irons and waffle recipe. Waffle batter cooked between the two heart-shaped plates creates an adorable heart shaped pattern Norwegian Waffles (vaffler)! It is fun to make these Norwegian Waffles. The heart-shaped waffles will put a smile on anyone who has one for breakfast.
Below are the ingredients we used. 💖💖💖

♥ Ingredients ♥
1/2 cup butter, melted
4 eggs
4-5 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon cardamom
2-1/2 -3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1-1/2 cups buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt
Special Equipment :A Norwegian heart-shaped waffle iron
Instruction:
Add melted butter to the milk. Combine the dry ingredients and gradually add it to the milk mixture. Keep stirring till you have a smooth consistency. If the batter is too thick add more milk.
Butter the heated iron before you add the batter and bake the waffle till light golden
Serve with either brown cheese (Gjetost), crème fraîche, strawberry jam, and/or unsalted butter. If you want to enjoy the waffle as a delicious dessert, serve with strawberries and fresh whipped cream.
Enjoy the waffles with either a cup of coffee, tea or your favorite beverage.
