Kunna is a traditional Pakistani dish originating from the Punjab region. It's a hearty stew made with either chicken, mutton, or beef, cooked slowly with spices and herbs until the meat is tender and flavorful. Here's a basic recipe for Kunna:

Ingredients:
- 1 kg Lamb shank meat
- 3 onions, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 green chillies, chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 cup oil or ghee
- 2-3 bay leaves
- 4-5 whole black peppercorns
- 4-5 cloves
- 2-3 black cardamom pods
- 1-inch cinnamon stick
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder or fresh turmeric
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Ginger slices for garnish.

Instructions:
1. Heat oil or ghee in a large pot or karahi.
2. Add chopped or paste onions and sauté until golden brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
4. Add meat and cook until it changes colour.
5. Add chopped tomatoes, green chillies, and all the spices. Mix well.
6. Cover and cook on low heat until the meat is tender, stirring occasionally. This may take 1.5-2 hours depending on the meat.
7. Once the meat is tender and the oil/ghee separates, remove the lid and cook for another 10-15 minutes until the gravy thickens. #pakistanifood #desi
8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and ginger slices.
9. Serve hot with naan or rice.
