2022년 입주작가 기민정, 박윤지의 창작활동을 가장 가까이에서 확인할 수 있는 자리이니 많은 관심과 방문 부탁드립니다.

기민정

기민정은 인간의 양가적인 감정과 그로 인해 발생하는 모순을 회화로 다룬다. 소설 등의 서사를 기반으로 작업하며, 모순의 근원을 탐구하고자 자연 현상 및 다양한 재료의 물성에도 관심을 두고 있다.

서울대학교 미술대학 동양화과 학사, 석사 졸업 및 박사를 수료했다. 《불의 습기 (송은아트스페이스, 2021)》, 《종이를 세우고 돌을 감으면 가루가 흐르고 천이, (OCI미술관, 2019)》 등의 개인전을 개최했으며 《바람이 부는 모양 (스페이스 소, 2019)》, 《무진기행 (금호미술관, 2016)》, 《수묵미학 (한원미술관, 2016)》외 여러 단체전에 참여했다. 송은 아티스트 스튜디오 (2021), 청주미술창작스튜디오 (2015), 쿤스트독 라이프치히 레지던시 (2011) 입주작가로 활동했다.

Painter Key Minjung investigates ambivalent emotions and their ensuing contradictions. Her works are based on narratives such as novels. Key is also interested in natural phenomena and different materiality, all of which help her research on the origin of human contradictions.

Key received BFA and MFA from Seoul National University College of Fine Arts and pursuing her PhD at the Department of Oriental Painting at the same institution. Her recent solo shows are 《Mist of Flames (SongEun Art Space, 2021)》 and 《Hoisting paper, rolling up stone, floating sprinkles and then the fabrics (OCI Museum of Art, 2019)》. She also participated in 《Trace of Wind (Space So, 2019)》, 《Journey to a Fluid Island (Kumho Museum of Art, 2016)》 and 《Asthetics of Oriental Ink (Hanwon Museum of Art, 2016)》 among others. Key was a resident artist at SongEun Artist Studio (2021), Cheongju Art Sudio (2015) and Kunstdoc Residency Program (2011).
