OCI미술관은 서울 종로구 소재의 R1211 스튜디오를 운영합니다.
2023년 입주작가 이페로, 정해민 작가의 창작활동을 가장 가까이에서 확인할 수 있는 자리이니 많은 관심과 방문 부탁드립니다.

정해민

정해민은 또렷한 일상의 사건들을 느슨한 허상으로 재구성한다. 모니터에서 빛으로 만들어진 이미지를 캔버스에 출력해 무한한 변화의 가능성을 제한하고, 망점으로 재현된 이미지에 안료를 도포해 물성을 부여하는 등 디지털 이미지와 물질성과의 관계에 집중하고 있다.

홍익대학교 판화과 학사, 한국예술종합학교 조형예술과 전문사를 졸업했다. 《그림 같은 집을 지어 (표 갤러리, 2022)》, 《그림의 집 (부평아트센터, 2020)》, 《Could not complete your request (OCI미술관, 2017)》등의 개인전을 개최했으며 《사공보다 많은 산 (강원트리엔날레, 2022)》, 《TRANSLATION OF THE DIFFERENCE (홍콩한국문화원, 2019-20)》, 《매터데이터매터 (스페이스 소, 2019)》외 다수의 단체전에 참여했다. 부평 영아티스트 대상, 겸재정선 내일의 작가 우수상, 의정부예술의전당 신진작가 공모 대상을 수상했다.

Jeong Hae Min reconstructs distinct daily incidents into loose virtual image. Jeong creates images of light on monitor and prints them onto canvas, thus limiting the infinite possibilities of configuration. He focuses on the relationship between digital image and physicality by the process of granting materiality through applying paint on the image recreated by halftone.

Jeong Hae Min obtained BFA from Hongik University in Printmaking and MFA from Korea National University of Art. His recent solo exhibitions include 《Building A Picturesque House (Pyo Gallery, 2022)》, 《The House of Paintings (Bupyong Art Center, 2020)》 and 《Could Not Complete Your Request (OCI Museum of Art, 2017)》. He also participated in many group exhibitions such as 《Hundreds of Boats, Thousands of Mountains (Gangwon Artists Triannale, 2022)》, 《TRANSLATION OF THE DIFFERENCE (Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong, 2019-2020)》 and 《Matter Data Matter (Space So, 2019)》 among others. He received Bupbyong Young Artist Grand Prize, Gyeomjaejeongseon Artist of Tomorrow Excellence Award and Uijeongbu Arts Center New Artist Competition Grand Prize.
