Hi everyone,

This is my collage for week 33 of the challenge being hosted by Margarete Miller this year ( see below for details, if the #2024CW challenge is new to you and/or if you’re interested in taking part).

The prompts set for this assignment were as follows:

1. ‘A leaf or leaves’ ~ I fussy cut a couple of sprigs of leaves from a book
to use for this prompt. I preferred the first spring I cut out but it was a
little too big in terms of the scale, so I went with the second sprig.

2. ‘Something made from wood’ ~ I went with an old wooden chapel door
with a pair decorative wooden gates in front.

3. ‘Graph paper’ ~ I found a couple of scraps of graph paper that had
lines worked in pale green. I thought this would be perfect to tie
in with my green, rather distressed chapel door and also the sprig of
leaves.

4. ‘Something that makes you happy’ ~ Oh where to start for this one....
I found a wine label (I’m partial to a glass or two of cold New
Zealand Marlborough white wine) but we all know that if you drink too
much it can make you ‘happy’! Also, a fair hand always makes me
happy. I found a piece of beautiful, handwritten writing to use too. I
went with more than one item for this prompt because you can’t
have enough of what makes you happy...lol.

5. ‘An animal with fur’ ~ I went with an image of a very comfortable
looking rabbit, sat sipping his tea from a teacup.

Bonus ‘A receipt’ ~ A vintage receipt from my stash came in handy for
this bonus prompt.
