Hi everyone,

This is my collage for week 38 of the challenge being hosted by Margarete Miller this year ( see below for details, if the #2024CW challenge is new to you and/or if you’re interested in taking part).

The prompts set for this assignment were as follows:

1. ‘Something found in a kitchen’ ~ Originally I was going to use a picture
of a couple of pears, we usually have those in our fruit bowl in the
kitchen. But the image went AWOL and I haven’t found it yet! So
resorting to Plan B I chose an image of chamomile.. herbs and spices
can usually be found in a kitchen, right.

2. ‘A colour that reminds you of Summer’ ~ Thinking along the lines of
clear blue Summer skies I lifted out a couple of tag bases, I made a
while ago, after playing with various blue Distress Oxide inks.

3. ‘A book page’ ~ A page from one of my favourite ‘go to’ craft books,
‘In and out of the Garden’ by Sara Midda hit the prompt for this one,
especially as it was about herbs...perfect

4. ‘Something with holes’ ~ One of my tags had an eyelet in the top and
that alone would have hit this prompt. BUT in amongst my
craft stash I have some absolutely stunning hole reinforcers that my
very lovely and generous friend, Jeff sent me. I’ve been hoarding these
for simply ages but decided that this would be an assignment
worthy of showcasing them on.

5. ‘ A musical instrument’ ~ I thought a shiny French horn would be
interesting to use for this prompt.

Bonus ‘Any kind of tag’ ~ The little tag I used was again one that’s been in my craft stash for a wee while. The colours fit well and the size was perfect for sitting on top of the chamomile image.
