Hello Em Gee’s here’s another recipe for you to try out.

Ingredients (Serves 6-8)
1-2 rack Baby Back Ribs (halved)
Olive Oil
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
1 tsp Brown Sugar

For the BBQ Sauce
2 tbsp Olive Oil for frying
1 whole white Onion
1 tbsp Cumin
1/2 cup Ketchup or Tomato Puree
2 tbsp Vinegar
1/2 tsp of Sugar
1 cloves of Garlic (optional)
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce (optional)
1 tsp Paprika (optional)
Salt & Pepper

Preparation

Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C)

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil.

Sprinkle evenly with olive oil, brown sugar, salt and pepper.

Rub the seasoning evenly on both sides.

Cover with the foil and bake for 2-3 hours.

Prepare the sauce

Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add onions and cook for 5 minutes, stirring, being careful not to burn them. Add the ketchup, brown sugar, chipotle Ketchup or tomato sauce, vinegar (or less to taste), add salt & pepper and stir.

Allow to simmer.

Taste after simmering and add whatever ingredient it needs (more spice, more sugar, Worcestershire etc.).

Remove the ribs from the foil and place on clear glass baking dish.

Spread the homemade bbq sauce evenly on the top.

Brush ribs with barbecue sauce,

Increase oven temperature to 375°F (190°C).

Bake for another 10-15minutes.

Rest the ribs at least 10 minutes.
