In this video I show how to make a druzy snowflake and star using DIY moulds.
I have used up some old polymer clay canes, cookie cutters and some glossy craft varnish to make the copies.
A plastic tub to house the moulds, and a spot of veg oil to help release them.
I have used glitter and sparkly flakes in epoxy resin to decorate. A keyring and an old curtain ring are secured with a dot of U V resin so they can be hung up. I also used a smear of U V resin to brighten the front of them. I used a silicone inset on the back of the snowflake for a little extra razzle dazzle.
