In this video I show how to make a miniature polymer clay basket with miniature foil covered Easter eggs.
The basket has been made by twisting strands of polymer clay together and winding them around a upside down bowl shape. I have used a 2 part mould putty to form the shape of my basket but you could scrunch some tin foil into the shape to form the basket instead. Then I pre baked the basket and handle.
I have used liquid clay to bind the handle to the basket and tin foil to keep the shape during baking.
I chilled the eggs after forming them to help them keep their shape when I made them into little egg lollypops with paperclip wire. This made it easier to coat them in flake and glitter glue, gilding flakes , alcohol ink and glossy mod podge.
I coated the basket in matte mod podge, and used strong glue to secure the eggs into the basket.
