Hi Guys, welcome to EPISODE #7 in which we continue the "Let's talk about Health" series.

In this video I talk about reassessing your job or financial situation if you have become so unhappy or stressed that you feel trapped and without hope. I suggest there are always options on the table; career moves, ways to reduce your outgoings, or perhaps simply looking at your current situation from a different perspective πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ€”

I talk about holding greater worth in the intrinsic aspects of your job, i.e. rewarding and fulfilling work, supportive and understanding colleagues, especially considering how much time we typically spend at work and interact with these people πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ’»πŸ•‘

I also try to explain stress and stress management techniques using the "STRESS CONTAINER" analogy and explain that the key to preventing our containers from overflowing is finding time to yourself, to syphon off stress, more often than we allow our containers to fill up πŸ’§πŸ₯ƒ

I propose the notion of a "HAPPINESS HOUR' to alleviate stress and suggest that carving time into your day to find a creative outlet, e.g. photography, baking, gardening, is a fun and enticing way to relax (for me, it's been YouTube) πŸ“ΊπŸ˜Œ

Deep down we are all creative beings and I think what sets us apart from most animals is our relationships and our desires to create and explore in ways which which our heart inspires us to do so. So try to pick back up that old hobby, or dig out that old something which is gathering dust (that guitar, football boots, or mountain bike). I would wager that when you do, the feeling will be satisfying and liberating and allow you to REALLY UNWIND. You never know, you might rekindle your passion for something and maybe even get good at it πŸ˜²πŸ˜€

I would love to hear what you like to do with your HAPPINESS HOURS, or whether you have any ideas or suggestions for me πŸ“πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜Š

There are more videos to come in the "Let's talk about Health" series. Stay tuned.
