Hi Guys, welcome to EPISODE #10 in which we continue the "Let's talk about Health" series.

In this video I talk about the ever increasing threat of COVID-19 and the associated worries which seemingly appear to be closing in on us daily 🤯

Although Corona Virus and its devastating effects are VERY REAL, it is important that we try to KEEP CALM (and Carry On). So here I propose 5 ways to help us stay positive and as worry-free as we can because, after all, stress and anxiety must also be dealt with seriousness and caution 🧠

📝5 Ways to Stay Positive Throughout COVID-19:
1. It is important to stay informed BUT try limiting viewing news and media to once a day (or even less) as it can be overburdening, stressful and at the moment there seems to be very little positive news to hear 📵
2. Keep up a routine (as best you can). Even if you are working from home, get up for work, take a shower and maybe a lunch time walk (take your nature pills). We are creatures of habit and need purpose. For example my exercise program has really kept me going! Maybe plan in a date night or takeaway for the whole family. Something to look forward to is the key here 😁
3. Look forward to and celebrate the little wins! For me it is my morning coffee, lunchtime walks and Arthur’s bath time routine. I think finding joy in the simple things will certainly help get us through the day☕️
4. Stay in touch! Try to make every effort to call friends or family when you can, just to chin-wag and to keep in touch. This is even more crucial for those who you know live alone. There is tonnes of tech nowadays to facilitate this (most of it FREE), so use it whenever you can to call someone dear to you, just to say Hi 👨🏻‍💻
5. Remain optimistic! It can feel like the world is ending and the walls are crumbling around you (unfortunately just like depression and anxiety), it's true the entire country is in a slump right now, but if we all have hope and faith (if you keep it), positive attitudes can be very powerful, both mentally and physically. Worrying about things we cannot control is damaging and should try to be avoided 🤞
